Supported documents
asciitor accepts text/* documents plus common structured-text and SVG MIME types through Android’s system file picker. It reads UTF-8, UTF-16, and ASCII-compatible text, and rejects binary-looking content.
-
Rendered preview: AsciiDoc (
.adoc,.asciidoc), Markdown (.md,.markdown), HTML (.html,.htm), and SVG (.svg). -
Edit and save only: plain text, JSON, CSV, XML, YAML, TOML, configuration, and source-code files.
-
Export and printing remain AsciiDoc-only.
Android providers ultimately decide which entries their picker shows for broad MIME requests. See Known UX Issues for a platform limitation that can make other file types visible.
